Team Composition
Dr. Liang Wei, CEO， Founder of Ruidong New Energy. Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Automotive Engineering from Tsinghua University, and PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in the United States. Specially appointed experts under the National Thousand Talents Program, Military Equipment Group, and external experts from BAIC Group, Jianghuai Automobile, and Changan Automobile. I have served as the Vice President and Chief Engineer of Power Systems for a complete vehicle enterprise, and have developed over 20 new energy vehicle models and power systems for Ford and Changan Motors in the United States.
Dr. Gan, Chief Engineer, graduated from Tsinghua University and is a specially appointed expert under the National Thousand Talents Program. The former technical leader of China Automotive Research Institute in the direction of electronic control, was responsible for developing several industrialization projects such as new energy vehicle electronic control systems and high-level auto drive system.
Dr. Yu, system performance expert, PhD from Xi'an Jiaotong University, former Changan Automobile technology expert and project chief engineer, with rich experience in power system performance development.
Zhang Jingjing, Vice President, formerly served as Vice President and Quality Department Head of Changan Automobile, with over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry, responsible for strategic planning, human resource management, and quality system construction.
Dr. Xu Liwen, Chief Engineer, PhD from Clarkson University in the United States, former Senior Director of NIO and Chief Engineer of Geely Automobile, with 20 years of work experience at Ford in the United States, leading the development of NIO's first generation three in one powertrain EDS.
Dr. Wang Shaofeng, Chief Engineer, PhD from Tokyo Institute of Technology in Japan, former General Manager of Hunan Rongda Transmission Company, with 20 years of management and project experience at Nissan, has developed high-efficiency continuous continuously variable automatic transmissions in China.
Dr. Ma, an expert in electric motors, former Chief Engineer of Changan Automobile and Vice President of Geely Research Institute, has extensive experience in the design and productization of electric drive systems.
